In July 2018, the Kingston Sunrise Rotary Club ("the morning club") and the Kingston Rotary Club ('the lunchtime club") merged.  For the time being, our weekly meeting times and venues will alternate to provide options for all club members and visitors.  We hope to grow our membership and strengthen our presence in the Kingston area.

Kingston Rotary Honors 2015 Rotarian of the Year Rotarian of the Year 2015

August 25, 2015 (Kingston, NY) – The Rotary Club of Kingston presented Tami Herendeen with the 2015 Dr. Arthur Sheldon “Rotarian of the Year” award.  Ms. Herendeen has been an active club member since 2007, is a past board member and served as the club president from 2012-13.  She is also a Paul Harris Fellow.

The award was presented by Ken Pearson, last year’s recipient of the Rotarian of the Year award, at a recognition luncheon held in August at Rotary Park at Kingston Point.  “This award is presented to a club member who exemplified Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”-  in daily life as a Rotarian and as a member of our community,” said Mr. Pearson.

The Kingston Rotary Club is celebrating 99 years of service to the community and is the oldest Rotary club in the Rotary District 7210, the heart of the Hudson Valley.

Rotary is an international humanitarian service organization.  Rotary members are business and professional leaders who volunteer their expertise, compassion, and power to improve communities at home and abroad in nearly every country in the world.  Rotary International has over 1.2 million members around the world.
