As we all know, Rotary is about giving. An old Russian proverb says it best: “The gift belongs to the giver.” Ralph Waldo Emerson also reminds us that, “One of the most beautiful compensations of this life is that no person can sincerely try to help another without helping him or herself. Serve and you shall be served.” I couldn’t agree more.
By listening to our hearts, we build stronger ties with each other. With the Holiday Season upon us, it is a time to reflect upon the good work we do as individuals and as Rotarians. One of the real joys, for me, this holiday season, is to say thank you to all RCK members for all you do and for all we are involved in. Wishing you the gifts of the season: Peace, Joy and Hope.
